Outlook setup instructions
1. Open Outlook.
2. Select File > Add Account.
If you haven’t opened Outlook before, you’ll see a welcome screen.
3. Enter your Professional Email address and select Connect.
Note: If Outlook automatically discovers your IMAP account, enter your password and select Connect, then skip to step 11.
4. Choose IMAP.
5. Under Incoming mail, enter the Server and Port.
- Server: imap.secureserver.net
- Port: 993
6. For the encryption method, select SSL/TLS from the list.
7. Under Outgoing mail, enter the Server and Port.
- Server: smtpout.secureserver.net
- Port: 465 or 587
8. For the encryption method, select SSL/TLS from the list.
9. Select Next.
10. Enter your password and select Connect.
11. Once you see confirmation that your email account was added, select Done.
Apple Mail setup instructions
- Open Mail.
- If you’re new to Mail: You’ll see Choose a Mail account provider…
- If you already use Mail: Select Mail and Add Account. You’ll see Choose a Mail account provider…
2. Select Other Mail Account and Continue.
3. Enter your Name, Email Address and Password. You’ll need to enter your Professional Email address and password (your username and password won’t work here).
4. Select Sign In.
5. Enter the Mail server settings and select Sign In.
- Incoming Mail Server: imap.secureserver.net
- Outgoing Mail Server: smtpout.secureserver.net
Note: If the email servers weren’t automatically found, you might see an error message. This is normal.
6. Select Done. Mail will verify your Professional Email account settings and load your email.
